Hi, I just wanted to send a personal thank you for the shrine you made me for secret shrine-ta 2025 !! I apologize for the late reply, I haven't checked my emails in a bit and was just planning on checking out the shrines sometime during my free time, so it completely caught me off guard when I saw I had received my own !!! Thank you SO, SO much, it absolutely made my day and it's packed with so much information and I love everything about it!!! I can not put into words how kind this was of you, and I really appreciate it. I just love everything about it, everyone's little sprites, the header of the three heroes, the background, ALL THE INFO YOU WROTE OH MY GOSH !!!! I especially loved the focus on the symbolism in Deltarune and what each character and the dark worlds represent, I adore thinking about the themes of choice in Deltarune so it was such a treat to read over !!! Thank you so, so much really! I hope you have a very lovely Holidays, you absolutely deserve it

ahhh, I'm so glad you liked it, also no worries about the late reply, I also almost never reply on time lol, I was actually super nervous while making your shine since I entered the event last minute and had like half the time the other partipants did but also because Deltarune is a really complex game with a lot of layers and obviously I wanted to focus on the aspect of the game you loved the most but I had no idea what that was "do they like it because of the story? comedy? gameplay? themes? lore? characters?" so I guess I just instinctively went with one of my favorite parts which is the writing and themes, I had a lot of fun writing it and I hope you had just as much fun reading it, also I 100% agree that the themes about choice in Deltarune are a big highlight of the game and one of the reasons I love it so much, thanks a lot for writing this, it really made my day to know that what I do is appreciated! I wish you an amazing holiday too

i love your site! it just feels so earnest and makes me realise i want mine to be a bit more like that. generally some great unique page ideas i wanna steal too :p i really want to do a youtube recommendation page like yours now! (btw the same channel who did the king candy video has a great video about rio) joining the hollow knight webring IMMEDIATELY - maybe you should put it on ringlink so more people might stumble across it! excited to come back again

That's such a great compliment and one I've never received before, despite my site being generally silly I still try to make the design look somewhat "professional" and one of my #1 priorities is making it easy to navigate, it always brightens my day when people like my ideas so I don't even have the words to express how excited it makes me that I was able to inspire you, I can't to see that YouTube page! I recently saw that vide you mentioned about Rio and it's super well done, the ringlink is such a good idea and I should take advantage of the fact I'm on winter break to join it as soon as I can, I also checked aout your site and it's so cool! your art is beautiful and you have a really nice way of expressing yourself in your logs and shrines and it's awesome to find someone else that loves biology and considers videogames as an art medium

You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that, you site is amazing so it truly means a lot to me that you like my site honestly I'm kinda insecure about my writing because I feel like I'm not expressing myself properly and when talking about the things I love it's especially hard to put my feelings into sentences because I'm just so obssesed with that thing that words aren't enough to express it so hearing that one of the things people admire the most about me is my passion is possibly the highest form of praise I can receive, thank you so so much for commentin g such a sweet message because knowing people enjoy what I do is what motivates me the most to continue! I love the indie web so much, everyone here is amazing

Super late reply but your comment actually inspired me a lot and I'm starting to go to theatre classes (not musical tho, we only have regular theatre in my tiny ass city) and I'm having the time of my life! you are so right on that last point, it's more about passion than talent :] I'm a pretty mediocre actor with a stutter who often forgets the script and can't improvise very well but I always put a lot of emotion into my roles and all my friends and teacher say that I'm doing a good job so I must be doing something right, I'm actually gonna study in a bigger city for a few months and I'm pretty sure that school has a musical thatre club and when the time comes I definetly will join it! so yeah thanks a lot your comment made me really happy
